About ColorDigits
ColorDigits converts notation for one opaque sRGB color. RGB channels are decimal integers from 0 to 255. HEX accepts three or six digits, with an optional leading #. Three-digit HEX repeats each nibble. Output uses uppercase six-digit HEX and equivalent CSS RGB.
Scope and contrast
No alpha/transparency, named colors, percentage channels, wide-gamut, CMYK or device-profile conversion is provided. Exact encoded values remain the same across notation; screen appearance can vary.
Contrast checks use relative sRGB luminance and the unrounded ratio (lighter+0.05)/(darker+0.05). Normal AA uses 4.5:1; large AA uses 3:1. Checks apply only to the named foreground/background pairs, and do not certify an entire page.
Moodboard and outputs
Arrange four role-labeled colors and a built-in or locally uploaded image. Uploads are resized to a maximum 960 pixel edge and included in shared outputs only when the image option is selected. CSS and CSV always provide the complete current source palette; PNG/PDF display options control the brief.
